The Olympic Hardrock Z is a son of the legendary stallion Heartbreaker. This Nimmerdor son had a spectacular jumping career and grew into the greatest of all time in breeding, with sons such as Harley VDL, Toulon, Quasimodo van de Molendreef, Padinus and many others. Like the preferent stallion Harley VDL, Hardrock Z is a product of the success combination Heartbreaker x Carthago. Hardrock Z's dam Carte Blanche Z also produced the international Grand Prix jumping stallion Charlemagne JT Z ridden by Silvia Bazzani and the approved stallions Be the Freak JT Z, Domingos JT Z.

Hardrock Z is paired with the elite mare Wiltura R (s.Corland). She produced several international sporthorses including the 1.45m horse Gintura (s.Zirocco-Blue VDL) and the 4* eventing horse Fire Fly (s.Zavall VDL). The damline continues with the Indoctro daughter Noblesse R, this elite mare herself performed at Z1-level and is the half-sister of several (inter)national sport horses. Great-grandmother Jarones (s.Emilion), is the half-sister of the 1.60m horse Rebel Rex (s.Ahorn). She produced the 1.40m horse Verdi R (s.Corland), several 1.35/1.30m horses and the approved stallion Unique R (s.Orame).
